Labarna built a state from scattered ground, then his name outgrew him. Those who came after carried it. The name became the standard the whole line was measured against.
For us, the idea is sovereign infrastructure, engineered end to end, that everything built after can stand on. Intelligence should change what is possible.
Labarna I is remembered as a founding king of the Hittite Old Kingdom in Anatolia. The later Proclamation of Telipinu calls him “Great King” and describes the small territory from which his rule expanded.
The proclamation tells how he brought surrounding lands under his rule through military campaigns, then placed his sons in charge of their cities and territories. Conquest was followed by administration: the lands became parts of a governed state.
Later Hittite kings bore Labarna, also written Tabarna, as a royal title. In the story behind our name, that is the lasting achievement: a builder whose work became the foundation and standard for those who followed.
Labarna grew out of the work of TFSF Ventures: building companies, production systems and the infrastructure they depend on.
Steven Foster, Founder and CEO of TFSF Ventures and architect of Labarna, brings 28 years in payments and software. He continues to architect client deployments directly.
